Guest Recital: Alex Wasserman, Piano

Guest Artist Alex Wasserman will will give a recital of piano music. As a concerto soloist, Dr.  Wasserman has appeared with the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic (CA), the New Valley Symphony (CA), the Suburban Symphony (OH), The Santa Barbara Choral Society and Orchestra (CA), The DeKalb Symphony (GA), The Reinhardt Symphony (GA), The Atlanta Community Symphony, and the Parma Symphony (OH) in concertos by Beethoven, Liszt, Grieg, Rachmaninov, and Tchaikovsky. As an orchestra pianist, Dr. Wasserman has appeared as a member of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music Orchestra under the direction of Marin Alsop. Also a celebrated chamber musician, he has collaborated with members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and New York Philharmonic, and has appeared as guest pianist with the Atlanta Chamber Players. Equally dedicated to the education of emerging talent, Dr. Wasserman is the recently appointed Assistant Professor of Music at Reinhardt University (GA), having previously served as Artist-in-Residence.
