Thomas Lay is Acquisitions Editor at Fordham University Press, where he has worked for the last decade. He acquires in literature, continental philosophy, cultural anthropology, and political theory. He manages the Press’s translations program and served as principal investigator for the Modern Language Initiative, a recently-completed Mellon grant that funded 135 first books on non-Anglophone literary and cultural production at five university presses.
