Archive Fever

An informal roundtable discussion of archival research with Professor Michele Navakas and Undergraduate Summer Scholars Ellen Stenstrom and David Farley. Come hear stories about discoveries in the archives of Sylvia Plath, Diane di Prima, Gary Snyder, and early American culture, as well as informal discussion about the practical aspects of visiting archives. Welcome-back reception to follow.

Michele Navakas is Assistant Professor of English at Miami University and the author of Liquid Landscape: Geography and Settlement at the Edge of Early America (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2018).

Ellen Stenstrom and David Farley are English Department students who recently participated in the Undergraduate Summer Scholars Program.
