Dr. Sackeyfio received her PhD from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Her research interests encompass governance; political economy; energy and resource politics; gender and sustainable development with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Her first book, Energy Politics and Rural Development: The Case of Ghana, was published in 2017. She is currently working on the dynamics of African migrant communities and the nature of political, as well as economic, incorporation in East Asia.
