Marianne D. McComb Series in Creative Writing: Craft Panel

Craft Panel with Leslie Jamison, David Ebenbach, Kimberly Dixon-Mays, and Matt Young.

Leslie Jamison is the New York iTimes bestselling author of The Recovering, a critical memoir, two essay collections--The Empathy Exams and Make it Scream, Make it Burn--and a novel, The Gin Closet. She is a contributing writer. for the New York Times Magazine and directs the graduate nonfiction Program at Columbia University.

David Ebenbach is the author of eight books of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. He teaches creative writing, creativity, and literature at Georgetown University.

Kimberly Dixon-Mays is a poet, playwright, performer, and Cave Canem fellow, whose plays have been read or staged at Crossroads Theatre Company, Plowshares Theatre Company, Emotive Fruition, Windy City Playhouse, and Strawdog Theatre Company. Her poetry has appeared in Reverie, Anthology of Chicago, the anthology Trigger Warning, Uproot, Rhino, and Consequence.

Matt Young, author of the memoir Eat the Apple, is the recipient of fellowships from Words After War and The Carey Institute for Global Good. He teaches composition, creative writing, and literature at Centralia College.
