The World of Contemporary Israeli Music for Piano

A recital of award-winning contemporary Israeli music, played by classical pianist and composer Or Yissachar.

Yissachar has studied with Josef Bardanashvili, Michael Damian, Arnon Erez, Dalia Harel, and Hana Shalgi. He is a laureate of the America-Israel Culture Fund scholarship. He has won 1st prize in the Paul Ben Haim Israeli music performance competition, 2nd prize in the Israeli contemporary competition, 2nd prize in the Israeli Chamber Music competition, 2nd prize in the Piano Talents competition in Milan, and 1st prize in the Israeli Composition Competition, among others. He speaks five different languages, and is currently at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv university.
