Though ‘the Muslim woman’ has often been portrayed one-dimensionally, Muslim women and girls defy easy generalizations. About one of every nine people on the planet is a Muslim woman or girl, and Islam is only one facet of their lives. This talk will engage the basics of a common Muslim tradition, while showing diversity in interpretation and implementation.
