Fiction author Bonnie Jo Campbell will meet with students enrolled in Miami University's Institute for Learning Class "Appalachia in Michigan #2: Mothers, Tell Your Daughters." A collection of short stories, Campbell's most recent book, "Mothers, Tell Your Daughters," focuses on women pushed to their breaking point -- for better or worse.
Campbell has won the AWP award for short fiction, a Pushcart prize, the Eudora Welty Prize (2009), and she was named a Barnes & Noble Great New Writer.
Miami's Institute for Learning In Retirement is the major sponsor of this event.
