Faculty and staff are invited to join the Humanities Institute and humanities colleagues for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. This reception will follow the first lecture in this year’s Altman Program on Attention in the Age of Distraction: “The Attention Revolution: Deliberation, Sanctuary, and the Liberal Arts,” by D. Graham Burnett, Henry Charles Lea Professor of History at Princeton University.
The lecture runs from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the Bachelor Great Room (BAC 1042). Everyone is invited to the reception whether or not they attend the lecture.
