The fifth and final lecture in the Fall 2025 Havighurst Center colloquium series, "Soviet Propaganda: History and Legacy" will feature Neringa Klumbyte, who will talk about Soviet propaganda efforts in Lithuania.

Neringa Klumbyte is Professor of Anthropology at Miami. A political and economic anthropologist working in Lithuania, the European Union, and Eurasia more broadly, her wide interests include everyday life in post-Socialist and post-Colonialist countries, States and Nationalism, Elections, the Anthropology of Food, Marketing and Consumption, Ethnographic Writing and Representations. Dr. Klumbyte received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
