The History Department celebrates Dr. Schakenbach Regele's promotion to full professor by inviting her in this talk to share her insights into history and her sensibilities as a historian through a discussion of her current research into the life and times of Francisco de Miranda, a Latin American revolutionary.

Dr. Schakenbach Regele, a Professor of History at Miami University, is the author of two acclaimed books on the early American Republic.
