Katie Day Good is an associate professor of communication and researcher of emerging technologies at Calvin University. In 2025, she was awarded Redeemer University’s Emerging Public Intellectual Award. Good was a professor of strategic communication at Miami University from 2015 to 2024. She is the author of Bring the World to the Child: Technologies of Global Citizenship in American Education (2020) and the recipient of the 2020 Covert Award in Mass Communication History from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is a former Fulbright-mtvU Scholar to Mexico and National Security Education Program Fellow to India. Her writing can be found in academic journals, such as New Media & Society and the Journal of Media Literacy Education, as well as in national outlets such as The Chronicle of Higher Education, the Washington Post, and Wired.
