Karen Snouffer creates mixed-media sculpture, collage, painting and installation in which paradox, contradiction, and movement are driving themes. She has exhibited nationally and internationally including Art Center South Florida, Aqua Art Fair, Design Sublime, and Laundromat, Miami, the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art, the Weston Gallery of Art, Cincinnati, The Work Space, New York, the Hammond Harkins Gallery, Columbus, and the La Médiathèque, Epernay, France. She is a former residency fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown, MA, and a past Artist-in-Residence at Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA. Snouffer is a recipient of six Ohio Arts Council Artist Excellence Grants and a McGregor Foundation Global Exchange Grant.
