James Ingram is Associate Professor of Political Science at McMaster University. His research interests concern modern, and especially continental, political theory. Ingram’s 2013 book Radical Cosmopolitics focused on the idea of cosmopolitanism. His current major project, supported by the prestigious Canadian SSHRC Insight Grant, considers how the idea of “the political” has been redefined and contested in western political thought over the course of the twentieth century.
