Faculty and staff are invited to join the Humanities Center and humanities colleagues for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. This reception will follow the first lecture in this year’s Altman Program on Humanities Futures: “Future-Proofing the Humanities,” by Joy Connolly, President of the American Council of Learned Societies, former Dean of Humanities at NYU and former Provost and interim President at CUNY Graduate Center in New York.
The lecture runs from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the Heritage Room. Everyone is invited to the reception whether or not they attend the lecture.
