Lizzie Hutton is assistant professor of English and director of the Howe Writing Center at Miami University, Ohio. Her academic research has appeared in journals including College English and Journal of English Linguistics. Her book of poems, She'd Waited Millennia, was published by New Issues Press, and her poetry has appeared in journals including the Yale Review, Antioch Review, Beloit Poetry Review, Sycamore Review (as winner of the Wabash Prize) and Florida Review (as winner of a Humboldt Award).
