This event is a special 16mm screening of Michael Snow's classic experimental film Wavelength (1967). This film is a classic of the Structuralist movement in film, relying on one simple zoom across a space, but encompassing so much more. The reel that I'm screening has been rented from the The Filmmakers' Cooperative in New York City, making this a rare opportunity to see a quality print of a film rather than a digital copy.
