On October 13 at 4 p.m., the University Libraries and the Humanities Center will jointly host New Books at Miami to celebrate books recently published by Miami University faculty. This event is also co-sponsored by the Howe Center for Writing Excellence.
King Library will host a series of eight five-minute micro-talks by the authors of recent publications. This will be followed at 5 p.m. by a reception for faculty and graduate students on the stone plaza at the east entrance of the library.
If you have published a book in the last three years, we invite you to bring it with you to the 4 p.m. talks, so that it can be included in the display of recent publications at the 5 p.m. reception. The reception will be outside, in front of King on the stone plaza at the east entrance (weather permitting).
