The American Wild Ensemble (AWE) is a chamber music ensemble that commissions new musical works in association with National Parks and Humanities Councils across the country. The Humanities Center lecture focuses on empathetic partnerships and community engagement, wherein the speakers will present their history working with National parks and Humanities councils, designing creative projects that support the missions of those organizations, and formulating strategies for interdisciplinary public engagement, arts and humanities, and public policy.
