Please join us to discuss Dr. Önder Akgül's pre-circulated paper, "War upon the Desert: The Ottoman Military-Environment Complex in the Sinai during World War I." Societies, Politics, and Economies (SPE) is an informal seminar space where faculty from different departments and at different stages of their careers can come together to discuss a colleague’s research project over lunch.
