"The “Blues of Achilles” by award-winning musician Joe Goodkin, is an original song-cycle based on the experiences of the Greek warrior Achilles in Homer’s Iliad. Goodkin’s work draws not only on deep engagement with Homer’s poem, but also interviews and accounts of those who have experienced war first-hand.
