The Other Urban America: The Past, Present and Possible Futures of the Small Industrial Cities of the Midwest
The urban renaissance hasn’t yet arrived in the Rust Belt. Smaller, second-tier cities in the Midwest continue to struggle with class and racial inequality and economic disinvestment. The purpose of this symposium is to bring academic researchers, policy experts and elected officials together for a focused, intensive conversation about the smaller industrial cities.
