“TopoNarratives” is a series of interconnected films exploring cultural and geo-political constraints or orthodoxies across diverse people, histories, and locations. The “TopoNarratives” series explores inter-generational perspectives of orthodoxy’s consequence: migration and refuge, loss and remembrance, contestation and construction. Greatly influenced by familial stories in the diasporic condition of the mid-twentieth century these stories are ever-present, reconfigured in our current collective experience.
