Patricia McDonough is a graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at Indiana University who will discuss travel and research on a dialect in India. She was awarded a junior fellowship for 2018-2019 by The American Institute of Indian Studies to carry out her project, “Documenting the Structure of the Thangal Naga Language.” McDonough was the recipient of the Joe Elder College Year in India Junior Fellowship.
