Harrison Hall 204

Zygar was the founding editor-in-chief of the only Russian independent news channel Dozhd (Rain-TV),which provided an alternative to Kremlin-controlled federal TV channels by focusing on news content and giving a platform to opposition voices. Zygar is the author of the bookAll theKremlin's Men: Inside the Court of Vladimir Putin, the history of Putin's Russia, based on interviews with Russian politicians from Putin's inner circle. He is also the author of the forthcoming book Eyewitness1917: The Russian Revolution as it Happened, based on the unique Project1917 website, a month-by-month re-telling of Russia's year of revolutions, consisting entirely of primary sources: letters, memoirs, diaries and other documents of the period.
