Many of us defend the humanities with passion, but what exactly are we defending? Forum participants are encouraged to read the attached one-page summary prepared by Pepper.
The forum will be hosted by Pepper Stetler, Professor of Art History and Associate Director of the Humanities Center. The topic is “How We Talk about the Humanities.”
Sandwiches, vegetarian and turkey, will be provided to faculty members who RSVP to humanitiescenter@miamioh.edu by 1 p.m. Monday, January 29. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, if that is your preference.
The Humanities Faculty Lunch Forum meets once per month to discuss topics of general interest, such as trends in higher education, questions of policy, emerging fields of study, curriculum, teaching challenges, and issues related career stage.
